What voting YES! means:
We will stop the expansion of gambling in Lakewood.
We will create a better tomorrow for our youth
Lakewood can attract economic growth through positive business diversity.
3.9% of our adults and 8.4%of our youth will lead better lives.
We determine our city, not corporations.
We expect better out of our city leaders and of
our business community.
What voting no means:
Gambling and Casinos will expand. They have lobbied for higher table limits and slots.
Corporate interests from outside of Lakewood will dictate how we live in our community.
3.9% of our adults and 8.4% of our teens will become addicted to Gambling.
Our city will continue its addiction to Gambling tax revenue.

As a grass roots political movement, the Save Lakewood is proud to announce a spectacular base of support for our proposition to ban mini casinos from the city of Lakewood.
Not only have more than 6000 people from all walks of life supported our petition by signing it, we are proud to announce that the first mayor of Lakewood LTG (ret) William H Harrison himself has come forward to say that he is indeed in support of Prop 1.
Also noteworthy is the political recommendation from the Tacoma News Tribune in support of Prop 1.
