Want to hear the candidates for Lakewood City Council? On Thursday, August 6, 2009, 6:30p.m., the Tillicum/Woodbrook Neighborhood Association (TWNA) will host a forum to which “as of this posting “ six of the eight candidates are confirmed. The TWNA meets at the Tillicum Community Center, 14916 Washington Ave. SW. Take Tillicum Entrance #123 off I-5 and turn right into Tillicum, then an immediate left onto Union Ave. Go three blocks and turn right onto Maple St., then a left onto Washington Ave. Just past the playground of the Tillicum Elementary School will be the Community Center on your right.
